As we look forward to the sunny skies and warm breeze of spring, our minds turn toward southern France’s premiere wine region of Provence, and the new vintage of rosé! The oldest wine-producing region in France, Provence is famous for its abundant sunshine, limestone-rich soil, and drying Mistral which produce dry, refreshing, food-friendly wines. Rosé is a source of pride for the region and represents over 90% of all wines produced there and are subject to strict requirements to ensure a consistency in quality.
Over 20 years ago, Gilles & Pascale Pons, owners of Château les Valentines, began their adventure in winemaking on 10 hectares of neglected vineyard, building an estate from scratch. They immediately converted to organic farming and have since grown the estate to 50 hectares on the coast of Côtes de Provence La Londe appellation. They focus primarily on rosé, highlighting the unique terroir of this very special region. Last summer, after years of working together, Derek finally traveled to Provence to visit and walk through vineyard with Gilles, touring the entire estate, the wine cellar and production facility, and most importantly, tasting the rosé! It is such a special pleasure for us to welcome Gilles back to Nicks on Broadway tonight to taste with all of you, for the very first time, the first rosé from this same harvest where Derek and his family walked through the vines.
Arrival time for this dinner is 6pm. The evening will start with an Oysters, Crostini & Rosé Reception, followed by a seated dinner with wine pairings selected for each course. Conversation, Laughs, Fun.
Dinner is $135 per guest, which includes 5 courses of food & wine pairings. Tax, gratuity & any additional beverages are not included. Please let us know of any allergies in advance. All wines will be available for purchase.

Please Note: A deposit is required to secure the reservation for parties of 8 or larger. The deposit is $10 per person and will be applied to the bill at the time of the reservation. The deposit is refundable if the reservation is cancelled with at least 48 hours notice. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if cancelled less than 48hrs prior to the reservation time, or if there is a failure to arrive for the reservation.
